The Russell Partnership: case studies: Hotel, High Street & Conference: Ashome Hill:
Ashorne Hill Management College
Ashorne Hill Management College, a residential training facility with 94 bedrooms and 40 meeting rooms previously only utilised by Corus for internal training, commissioned the Partnership to procure the contract for catering and accommodation services.
The procurement commission involved sourcing appropriate providers, interviewing and assessing, selection and the establishment of an appropriate Service Level Agreement.
In addition, the Partnership was retained to undertake quarterly operational quality audits and implement a quarterly, Catering Price Index, to benchmark commodity purchases.
Following contractor appointment, Corus commissioned the Partnership to create a Conference strategy for Ashorne Hill and to launch the product into the external marketplace.
As part of the successful implementation of the conference strategy the Russell Partnership were requested to supply an interim manager for three months to create commercial sales, marketing and operational systems and assist in the recruitment and training of a permanent Sales & Marketing Manager.
