The University of Portsmouth has been working with the 'Russell Partnership'on a PRE-ARRIVAL on-line induction project, which went live for the first time this summer. The online induction - called "e-intro" - went out to 2,970 first years in hall and was seen by 98% of them by the time they arrived. The final 2% were followed up during the first week. The Partnership are the charity’s accreditation agents. Edinburgh - 1st 'Food for the Brain' university - The University of Edinburgh was this week the first university to receive Food for the Brain accreditation following a nutritional audit and training programme run by the Russell Partnership. Fiona McDonald Joyce, Food for the Brain and the Russell Partnership’s nutrition consultant said that ‘We have seen dramatic improvements in the quality of the University’s catering, which now meets the needs of students and staff to optimise mental performance and wellbeing’. BBC – following the tender process and the appointment of a new caterer across the London Estate, we are retained to support with the integration of the catering strategy. The Partnership is also providing design support to the new Broadcasting House. Southwark Cathedral – undertaking the procurement of the commercial catering contract. New Contract Catering Company - based in Doha (Qatar) is being mobilised and planned in conjunction with KPMG. Catering Tender processs for major University, facilitating and providing specialist support to in-house team to manage tender process Nutritional Audit Model and Workshop - training modules have been launched by the Partnership, The Audit will provide an in depth assessment of your catering’s nutritional rating based on a site visit from our Nutritional Team.
