Craig Rattray

Consultant

Craig has been working in the food hospitality and leisure industry for more than 10 years for both design consultancies and equipment installation companies. During this time he has undertaken projects in both the public and private sectors, ranging from small business cafes and restaurants, to large hotel projects, private banks, top end city center bars and restaurants, hospitals, educational facilities and major sporting events.

After graduating from a design degree in the early 2000’s, Craig began his career working in the commercial office interior design industry before joining the Russell Partnership in their drawing office. During his time with the partnership Craig took on the role of design consultant / technician working on a wide range of projects such as C. Hoare & Co, a private bank in the city of London, were he was responsible for a new staff kitchen and servery. Canterbury Christchurch University opening a new staff and student café, The Queen’s Club where he designed their temporary public servery and operational area during the weeklong tournament. He assisted in delivering a new campus wide catering strategy at the University of Reading, including a new Central Production Unit delivering food for the entire on campus outlets.

Upon moving overseas Craig joined an international equipment contractor with a focus as a project manager and design technician working on projects both nationally and internationally in both the private and public sectors. The experienced he gained during this time provides Craig with a sound and contemporary knowledge of manufacturing and installation methods and developed his understanding of the complete concept design through to installation and handover process. Whilst in this position Craig was also fortunate to work alongside a leading Ventilation company manufacturing ventilation canopies and condensate hoods for the food industry.

Craig has been fortunate to have been engaged in projects globally including a five-star hotel resort in PNG, the redevelopment of the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney and worked in Australia with Google.

Upon returning to London we are delighted Craig has rejoined the team and we will cherish his newfound experience.
