Peter brings to the collection experience across 30 countries in positions as private club manager, vice-president of a restaurant group, general manager of four and five-star hotels, and regional director of Marriott Hotels for Europe and MENA.
In government, he served as a co-director of the Geneva-based United Nations tourism development branch for emerging nations.
In hospitality education, Peter has lectured in 12 universities, was interim dean of the Hague Hotel School Holland, and is currently an advisory board member for three universities.
With combined experience in global industry, government, and education, Peter brings a pragmatic and creative approach to consulting initiatives in project concept and strategy; feasibility & financing; branding and marketing; facilities and service design; and asset management.
He is a recognized leader in high return-on-training investments, using hospitality business simulations and bespoke online learning.
Peter is a graduate of the Cornell School of Hotel Administration and holds an MSc. and MBA from Webster University, Switzerland. He is a member of both the International Society of Hotel Consultants and the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International, and an elected fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, UK.
