CUBO is the association for commercial and campus services professionals in higher and further education in the UK and Ireland, with a membership of 126 institutions and over 2,000 individuals.
Working in partnership with CUBO since 2022, Russell Partnership Consulting has delivered the Annual Benchmarking Survey and state-of-the-nation summary report on behalf of CUBO members. The survey spans the core commercial and campus services, covering statistics and pricing across the higher education sector for accommodation, conferencing, catering, retail, sport, residence life and soft facilities management.
Russell Partnership Consulting has developed a bespoke dashboard which enables participating institutions to visualise their individual responses against the data set, incorporating dynamic filtering to compare against like-for-like anonymised data sets, and AI large language modelling to efficiently summarise qualitative responses.
The key outcomes have been a 60% growth in participants, with the survey currently representing 1 in 3 UK and Irish universities.
