Our Chairman, Professor David Russell, founded Russell Partnership Collection in November 1989 with a vision to create a positive difference across the Food and Hospitality sector. After three decades, that passion and vision remain intact with our global teams of subject experts and thought leaders.
After creating and mobilising the first food strategy for the University of Warwick in 1989, David expanded the team and spent the next 30 years delivering food consultancy services to the higher education and business sectors. During this time and beyond, we are proud to have worked in partnership with over 100 UK universities and continue to do so today.
In July 2005, it was announced that London had won the bid for the 2012 Olympic Games. With an unwavering belief in the business’ capabilities, the team successfully bid to deliver the food strategy. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to deliver the world’s first Olympic food strategy was the largest peace-time catering operation at the time, and was instrumental in propelling Russell Partnership Collection into the major event arena, and where the business continues to thrive.
Over the past ten years, Russell Partnership Collection has worked with the largest global events, including London 2012 Summer Olympics, Sochi Winter Olympics 2014, Rugby World Cups 2015 and 2019, and the Commonwealth Games in 2018 and 2022. We continue to deliver support across multiple sectors, including business, government, higher education, major events, conference and hotels.
We’re delighted to have been creating a positive difference for over 30 years. Built from the roots of the United Kingdom, our business has expanded across the globe, now capable of delivering food, technology and wellbeing support internationally. You’ll find our professional, friendly team based in London, Oxfordshire, Dubai and across the United States and Canada.
We’re not just a business, we’re a group of people who are passionate about connection, collaboration and compassion. We also love to inject vibrancy into our work through innovative report structures, “out of the box” thinking and warm client engagement. That’s why we’d like to share our six core values with you and what they mean to us: Integrity, Passion, Quality, Knowledge, Meaning and Fun.
