Russell Partnership Collection was commissioned by the House of Commons to undertake catering benchmarking across the diverse catering operations within the House of Commons. This included all operations from MP’s dining and hospitality to employee catering across the Palace of Westminster and Portcullis House.
In summary the scope included initial research & facilitator workshop – to identify current trends and users’ needs including one-to one interviews with MP’s, operational benchmarking, the creation of an operational SWOT and feedback, financial benchmarking and utilisation of the RP commercial models to identify potential financial savings within the operation, an internal process review – including departmental interviews, reviewing the HR structure, IT support, Health & Safety, Procurement, Food & Beverage Controls, and Training & Learning.
