Greg started his career in catering back in 2005 as a Commis Chef in the Hilton Hotel in Dundee up in Scotland, who put him through his qualifications after he made the decision to move back to Scotland with his parents.
Throughout the years, Greg has tried his hand in every part of catering from fine dining to major sporting events.
He helped his family set up their business, catered for SPFL football / Scottish rugby clubs, airlines, golf open championships, Dunhill cups, independent schools, but in 2020 he Founded his own Catering Company Called Silva Service Catering Ltd.
In 2022 Greg was one of seven lead chefs who jumped at the chance to help Russell Partnership Collection show the world what the UK had to offer at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games. Offering good food to athletes, coaches, officials & families from all over the world.
Early in 2023, the opportunity arose for Greg to, once again, work alongside Russell Partnership Collection, Therme RPC and Therme Connect as a Chef, Consultant and hands on with the Nourish Box and other events.
Having both front and back of house experience, and being a very approachable person, Greg brings something unique to the Nourish Box Team.
