Olympia is a well-known exhibition, event space and conference centre in West London occupying four acres, featuring four event venues and a conference centre. In 2013, the £30m redevelopment of the venues culminated in a completely renovated Olympia Central and Olympia Conference Centre. The business was rebranded as Olympia London.
Russell Partnership Collection was commissioned to develop a strategy for Olympia, a blueprint for the future direction and delivery of food. The methodology commenced with customer and benchmark venue research, integrated current situation analysis, commercial and space modelling and assessed technical and financial system needs.
The outcomes identified the number of outlets and food offers to meet customer needs, optimum commercial returns, which organisations would be best-placed to operate food at Olympia, the space required to deliver this optimum food approach both front and back of house, plus the technological systems required to facilitate contemporary operating techniques.
