Variety, the Children’s Charity provide practical support that makes an immediate difference to disabled and disadvantaged youngsters, allowing them to live their best lives and reach their full potential. We award grants to support children and young people under the age of 19 who have a recognised disability or long-term health condition. We fund wheelchairs and a broad range of specialist equipment including hoists, beds, car seats, sensory equipment, assistive and medical technologies, that are not available through your local authority. Variety is also famous for providing Sunshine Coaches which are specially adapted, accessible minibuses that cater for SEND schools and other non-profit organisations working with disabled and disadvantaged children and young people.
