Jonathan has a Masters in Management from the University of Liverpool, with specific expertise in developing and in-sourcing catering businesses across the globe. As the former Chief Executive Officer of Capital Catering, an Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Group Company subsidiary, he developed the business from ground up to become one of the largest catering companies operating in the United Arab Emirates. Over nine years he guided the business to a team of 3,500 full-time employees, serving more than 125,000 meals a day across three central production facilities.

In his role as Chief Executive with Capital Catering, Jonathan was a critical member of the acquisition team and oversaw the business modelling and transformation of Etihad Aviation Services Catering (EASC) from Etihad Group, where he would later become Chief Executive Officer of EASC.

Jonathan had responsibility for all in-flight and other related catering services for Etihad Airways and other airlines leaving Abu Dhabi International Airport. In addition, his team led the development and delivery of all airside food safety systems across the Etihad global network.

Joining Russell Partnership Collection in 2025, Jonathan now heads our Middle East office serving the GCC region, as well as consulting on projects globally.
